APA names Bryant Park one of America’s Great Places

The American Planning Association has named Bryant Park in New York City one of America’s Great Places. The Great Places program celebrates places of exemplary character, quality, and planning.  Bryant Park was recognized for its successful redesign, often copied by others such as Houston’s Market Square and Pittsburgh’s Schenley Plaza, which features world-class amenities and provides a calming atmosphere in Manhattan.
