David Rubin’s Roman Inspiration

David-Rubin

Since beginning his six-month fellowship at the American Academy of Rome in September, OLIN Partner David Rubin has experienced firsthand how challenges make way for new opportunities both in the course of socially sustainable landscape design and in his own goals that first brought him to the Academy. In an interview published on the Academy’s website, David explained that, while unforeseen events may have altered his original course of study, his participation in the Rome Sustainable Food Project has inspired him to undertake an in-depth exploration of “the metrics and value of productive landscapes where they intersect in institutional environments.”
