Laurie Receives ASLA’s Highest Honor

Laurie Olin received the ASLA Medal at the 2011 American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Annual Meeting in San Diego. The highest honor the Society bestows upon practitioners in the field,  the ASLA recognized Laurie for his impact on several iconic projects, including New York City’s Bryant Park and the Washington Monument Grounds in Washington, D.C., as well as his authorship of numerous influential books and articles. The ASLA also praised Laurie’s “lifetime of teaching future landscape architects” as another extraordinary contribution to the practice of landscape architecture.
