Patch/Work Brewerytown Presentation
Earlier this year, OLIN submitted Patch/Work, a design to develop Philadelphia’s first sustainable neighborhood, to the Living City Design Competition sponsored by the International Living Future Institute and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Along with collaborators Interface Studios and Digsau, Patch/Work proposed to transform the historic yet underserved neighborhoods of Brewerytown and North Central from blighted post-industrial communities into models of sustainable development. The team’s proposal won the competition’s “Cities that Learn” award; now MM Partners LLC, one of Brewerytown’s largest commercial developers, has invited the design team to present their vision to the public, including Brewerytown residents and business owners. The event for Patch/Work, conducted in partnership with MM Partners, LLC, Brewerytown Living, Interface Studio and Digsau, will be held on Thursday, November 10 from 6:00-8:00 pm at 2816 West Girard Avenue in Philadelphia.
Such a great proposal!
