Chi-Tsai Liu joined OLIN in 2001 and has twelve years of international experience in landscape architecture and urban design. As an Associate, she supervises a number of significant projects in the United States, Taiwan and China in the areas of landscape master planning, landscape design, and quality assurance from the onset of a project until the final stages of construction. She is currently based in Taipei Taiwan, and manages many of OLIN’s projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
Chi-Tsai has worked on a range of urban, academic, and institutional work. Her recently built projects include Heart of Lake in Xiamen, China, Poly Desheng CBD Project in ShengDe, China, Johns Hopkins Hospital Entry Courtyard and Phipps Garden in Baltimore, Maryland and the California Memorial Stadium at the University of California, Berkeley. She was also involved in OLIN’s master plan and implementation for a 500-acre community of Camana Bay in Grand Cayman. Chi-Tsai’s other international work includes the National Palace Museum Southern Branch in Taiwan and the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Germany. Chi-Tsai earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture at Chung-Haing University before receiving a Master of Landscape Architecture at SUNY.
