With over 16 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, Darrell Campana joined OLIN in 2011. Since childhood, Darrell’s passion for creating and building tangible things that positively impact lives has blossomed and has lead him into his current role as a design leader and project manager for the various projects he is working on. In particular, his influence in the public realm for projects such as the Chicago Tribune Tower’s Pioneer Court drives his passion to continue to push his forward thinking in the growing population of Landscape Architects. In addition to his role as an associate, Darrell is a Team Leader for the office, responsible for ensuring projects are properly staffed with a successful project team. Darrell also has extensive knowledge of civil engineering practices and project permitting processes due to his previous experiences and roles in multi-disciplinary firms. Besides his interest in urban design and campus planning, Darrell has practiced for many years in the high-end residential sector in which he has successfully administered the completion of numerous projects. Darrell is currently working on the 11th Street Bridge Park project, the National Geographic Society Headquarters Campus Design, as well as the Chicago Tribune Tower Redevelopment.
