A Partner at OLIN since 2009, Hallie’s focus is the design and planning of award-winning landscapes that weave together nature and culture in the urban environment—including parks, plazas, university and corporate campuses, and waterfronts. She is currently leading the design of the 11th Street Bridge Park, a destination park in Washington D.C.; Pioneer Court, an urban plaza adjacent to the Chicago Tribune Tower; and Sylvan Theater on the Washington Monument Grounds. Realized projects include the new U.S. Embassy in London, University of California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, California, and the National Veterans Memorial and Museum and Spirit of Women Park in Columbus, Ohio.
Hallie holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Art in Art History from Bucknell University. For three years, she co-led an ongoing studio at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design, which explores the idea of catalytic landscapes that sustainably transform rural towns along the Czech-Austrian border. She has also been a guest critic at the University of Virginia and Temple University.
